Tax Returns - A group of forms (see Tax Forms) often must be submitted together to address a particular issue and together are called a tax return.

There are many kinds of tax returns each addressing different situations. The most common kind of Tax Return is the one needed to present a taxpayer's income tax situation (see Income Tax Forms).

Corporations are required to submit corporation tax returns.

This must be submitted using a Form 1120, or 1120s for an S corporation. A partnership must submit a partnership tax return using Form 1065. Estates and Trusts and trusts must also present information to the government, using Form 1041.
